Purity....
In a sex-crazed world, purity seems like a horribly outdated idea. You certainly won't find much support for it in movies, TV shows, or popular music. But the Christian faith is truly counter-cultural - and purity means a lot. Not only to God, either - what greater gift could a person give his or her future spouse than the gift of purity? When you choose to remain pure, you avoid the dangers of pregnancy, disease, and guilt, and give yourself a much greater chance of having a long-lasting, happy marriage. Old-fashioned? YES --But it works!!

Chastity, abstinence - saving sex for marriage - is NOT for wimps! ... Sexual activity does not make a boy a man or a girl a woman. But sexual activity outside of marriage can ruin a person's life and the lives of others. It takes a real man or woman to make tough choices they won't regret later... to stand up to the pressure when it seems like everyone else is "doing it". Linda Bartlett
Heavenly Father, I pray for strength to remain pure. With so many outside influences, it could be easy to give in. But I know that is not YOUR plan for my life - YOU have something very special in store for me. Help me to run from temptation. And even though I may have already made this mistake, please help me to go from this day forward walking with you and in YOUR strength.
